Learning what goes into making a perfect cappuccino, finding out how easy it actually is to make cannoli and discovering that an inviting and “truly Italian” vintage-chic deli exists in Queen’s Park transformed an otherwise dreary Tuesday night into a wonderful midweek escape to the deliciously sunny climes of Italy. Greeted with a glass of wine and a spread of yummy bruschetta and biscotti along with some cosy conversation, our hosts (Clara of Alimentari and Lisa of Le Dolci) made sure we Qypers felt at home.
