Next time you’re out at one of your favourite local curry houses (and if you live anywhere near Streatham, your top choice should definitely be Chilli Chutney!) and you fancy ordering some samosas to start off your meal, consider for a moment how much effort actually goes into making those perfectly triangular parcels of deliciousness. If the restaurant’s worth its garam masala, they’re certain to make their samosas in house … for which they should be commended! As we Qypers attending last week’s Samosa Making Worshop at Chilli Chutney found out, a good bit of skill and more elbow grease than you might think goes into the creation of these humble subcontinent treats.
