“Urban Photography and the Covent Garden Canvas Project” – Covent Garden Apple Store – October 6th

LDP 2010.01.20 - London

Here’s some info about a talk I’m giving at the Apple Store at Covent Garden (the world’s largest Apple retail space as it’s been explained to me). I’m hoping to let my photos do as much of the talking as possible, but I am keen (as well as a bit nervous) to share with an audience some of my experiences as a street photographer. Please come (it’s a freebie).

Evening with London blogger and street photographer Chris Osburn on urban photography and the Covent Garden Canvas project

6th October at 7pm

Apple Store
Covent Garden
No. 1-7 The Piazza
London, WC2E 8HB

Join London blogger and street photographer Chris “tikichris” Osburn in store as he discusses what inspires his photography across London, how to ‘shoot from the hip’ and the accessibility of the art-form.

As a freelance writer and photographer and contributing editor to the popular multi-contributor blog, Londonist, Chris covers London high and low and never leaves home without a camera.

Chris will also demystify the process of photo-blogging and allowing your images to be seen and shared, plus give an overview on Covent Garden’s own photography project, Covent Garden Canvas. Followed by a Q&A.
