To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Le Méridien supported Outset/Frieze Art Fair Fund to Benefit the Tate Collection, OFT has commissioned Duro Olowu to design two exclusive umbrellas. The limited edition umbrellas (500 colour, 1000 black and white, both featuring Olowu’s signature fabrics) were launched Thursday afternoon at Frieze and are now on sale at limited outlets, including Frieze and the shops at Tate Britain and Tate Modern.

Duro’s designs are inspired by his Jamaican-Nigerian heritage and his London upbringing. His fans include Michelle Obama, Uma Thurman and Candida Gertler (founder of Outset) pictured below with Olowu and wearing a top designed by him.
