2012 Turner Prize Nominees on View at Tate Britain (OneTravel)

The Turner Prize was set up in 1984 to celebrate new developments and outstanding contributions in contemporary art. The prize, along with £25,000 cash and an incalculable heap of art world clout is awarded each year to “a British artist under fifty for an outstanding exhibition or other presentation of their work in the twelve months preceding.”
