Shepard Fairey: Sound & Vision Opens at Stolenspace

DSC_0491

The much anticipated Sound & Vision exhibition by Shepard Fairey officially opens to the public tomorrow and runs until 4 November at Stolenspace in two spots: the permanent gallery space and the Old Truman Brewery’s Loading Bay on Dray Walk both just off Brick Lane.

The show is cool … and massive. In addition to showing off the artist’s exceptional skills, the exhibition puts his especially awesome record collection on display.

Tonight’s RSVP only opening was jam packed with queues almost completely around the block. Expect similar fervour over the weekend. Unless you absolutely must see this show as soon as possible, I’d recommend giving it a few days for a more manageable and elbow-roomier experience.
