Aromo Coffee

Aromo Coffee is an online espresso coffee pod retailer. They sell ESE coffee pods, Senseo Coffee Pods and Nespresso compatible coffee capsules to customers in the UK. They also sell their ground coffee and coffee beans.

Aromo got in touch and offered me the opportunity to sample their products. The thing is, though, I don’t own a coffee pod machine. I use an old fashioned cafeteriere, and I love it. So, they sent along some of their beans for me to try. A week or so into sipping, I’m happy to report their beans are great value and make a satisfying cup of coffee.

A 250g bag of 100% Arabica “Bounce” coffee beans costs £4. Bounce is a blend of Brazilian Daterra Bourbon with “more than a generous hint” of Sumatran Mahandeling. Think something along the lines of French or Italian espresso roast and you’ll get the picture. Full flavour, kinda creamy.

Of course, plenty of other caffeine fiends out there don’t use cafeteriers and are more than pleased with the results from their pod and capsule coffee machines. I reckon if Aromo’s basic coffee beans are decent that coffee made with their pods and capsules should be too (if that’s your thing). However you go about doing your coffee brewing, Aromo is worth keeping in mind, especially if you’re stocking for an offer or place with multiple coffee drinkers coming in and out. They offer a money back guarantee and next day delivery.
