The Big One – an actual cake-sized Jaffa Cafe – has been launched by McVitie’s. Large enough to yield 12 ample slices, the new cake combines “three layers of fluffy, light Jaffa Cake sponge with zingy orangey filling, all covered with a thick layer of sensational dark crackly chocolate.” I dropped by today’s press preview for a peek and a taste and have to admit I enjoyed my sample. If you love the regular sized Jaffa Cakes, you’ll love The Big One.
The giant Jaffa Cakes go on sale tomorrow (10 April) at ASDA and Morrison’s and are to be priced at £7 each.
