Just a quick little post to say the freshly made sourdough pizzas for takeaway from Palm 2 (my local grocery, the pride of Clapton Pond and arguably London’s best cornershop) are delicious and very good value.
Pizzas on offer include Margherita (£5.50); chorizo with chilli and fennel (£7); mushroom and wild garlic (£6); and purple broccoli with chilli and capers (£6.50). I tried the mushroom pizza as well as a slice of the Margherita last Friday. I loved them both and am still hankering for more.
Pizzas are available Thursday and Friday 6pm to 11pm and Saturday noon to 5pm. Order at the deli counter in the back of the shop.
