Lunch today came compliments of South African chef Siba Mtongaga who was in town today to promote her new Food Network UK series, Siba’s Table. Look for the show to premiere on the Food Network UK 23 September and to be aired weekdays at 12.30pm and 6.30pm.
One part “how to” and one part lifestyle the show is brought to you by the team who created Nigella’s Kitchen and Barefoot Contessa and filmed on location in Cape Town, South Africa where the young chef creates and serves a range of dishes for her friends and family. Judging from my lunch today, I can vouch that Siba is an especially gracious host and that she makes a mean chakalaka.
