Talk about a tea-rific team up! Bird of Smithfield and Veuve Clicquot Rich Champagne are coming together to create a unique and bubbly take on the ever so English ritual of afternoon tea for one week this August.

In celebration of Afternoon Tea Week – Monday the 10th to Saturday the 15th of August – Bird will be offering guests sandwiches with a twist, classic scones and yummy cakes – all served alongside “The Earl of Veuve” cocktails (Veuve Clicquot Rich infused with delicate Earl Grey leaves).

Situated on the edge of the City next to Smithfield Market within easy reach of Farringdon, Barbican, St Paul’s and Chancery Lane Tube stations, Bird of Smithfield – with it four floors and rooftop garden of delicious fun – is an ideal location for afterwork shenanigans, lingering lunches, and … for a limited time only … one of london’s most sophisticated and indulgent afternoon teas.
