Green & Pleasant brews English craft beer and cider made from top quality locally sourced ingredients. Fancy a taste for free? I’ve got a mixed case to share with one lucky reader.

Formerly only available to buy in fine establishments such as The Ritz and Mews of Mayfair, Green & Pleasant lager, ale and cider is now available to buy online from green-and-pleasant.com with free delivery on orders of 12 or more bottles.

Let’s have a look at Green & Pleasant’s range of drinks:

Cider
Our natural cider is a medium blend made only from genuine Herefordshire cider apples and nothing else, giving it a great depth and flavour. It has been created and blended on the Wilces’ farm in Ledbury, Herefordshire especially for Green & Pleasant. The fruit travels just four miles from the tree to the press. It is then washed mashed, pressed and left alone. The skill is in the blending and this is all done by taste, by master cider maker, Brian Wilce. Our cider is a pure juice product, there’s no need to add anything but time: seven months fermentation.

Golden Ale
Our Golden Ale is made at Quartz Brewing, a microbrewery in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. Green & Pleasant ale uses floor malt produced in the traditional way, and is brewed using the infusion method. The hops are whole hops of Perle and Hallertau Hersbrucker varieties to give the ale its refreshing fruity characteristics.

Craft lager
Green & Pleasant lager is brewed in the heart of the Trent Valley and expertly created for Green & Pleasant in Abbots Bromley. It has a fine toasted malt aroma, with sweet malt, spicy hops and light citrus fruit in the mouth, and a dry and hoppy finish and is brewed with water from the Trent hills.

I’ve had a taste of all three drinks. They’re especially crisp, clean and refreshing. And it’s a pleasure to offer this opportunity for one reader to win a mixed case (four ciders, four ales, four lagers) for free.
