Barcelona Uncovered with Avis

Barcelona Uncovered

Avis has teamed up British travel writer Ben Holbrook to tour of his chosen home and uncover the best of Barcelona to help you experience the city like a local.

Far from an expert – but definitely an big fan of the Catalan capital, I’m impressed with Ben’s knowledge and reckon his savvy suggestions are well worth passing along.

Xurreria Trebol

It seems Ben and I have similar taste – at least when it comes to enjoying Spanish sweet treats! Just as I had raved when writing about my own most recent visit, Ben also loves the churros and chocolate at humble but highly esteemed Xurreria Trebol in the fashionable neighbourhood of Gracia.

Beyond that, Ben’s ideas are new to me. And I’m glad for it. It’s awesome to read there’s still plenty there for me to discover in a place that’s already one of my favourite destinations, including some amazing street art, a vintage theme park with epic city, sea and mountain views, and recs on where to go for authentic seafood and tapas.

I am so craving another visit now.
