Summer Food and Wine Q&A | #AskBordeauxWines

#AskBordeauxWines

Save the date! From 1 to 3pm on Monday 12 June, I’ll be on Twitter engaging in an afternoon Q&A about summer food and wine pairings with the folks from Bordeaux Wines UK.

That’s me (@tikichris) with Bordeaux Wines (@BordeauxWinesUK) tweeting up a friendly and informative storm of wine-related (and potentially wine-fueled) fun minus any hint of snobbery but full of tips on making your summer as tasty as possible.

We’ll be chatting with the hashtag #AskBordeauxWines and would love for you to join us in our discussion and chime in with any questions you might have.

Along with all the oenological insight that’s bound to be imparted, there will be a chance for one participant to win a bottle of Bordeaux as well. That prize will go to the person who posts the most engaging tweet.

I am so loving the research for this gig! I’ve got a case of bottles of wines from Bordeaux to work through and share my recommendations for serving with seasonal foods. These wines are real winners too. And contrary to what you might think you might known about Bordeaux’s most famous exports, these quaffs won’t squash your budget. They’re all priced under £20 and are rather light and refreshing as well – more of a savvy buy for a laidback afternoon in the back garden thana significant investment to stow away in your cellar.

The Q&A will coincide with the launch of the Bordeaux Butterfly Bar, a pop-up bar running until Friday 9 June at Finsbury Avenue Square, EC2M, near Moorgate Station. For further details about the pop-up and more go to bordeaux.com.

Catch you soon on Twitter!
