Mister Lasagna Opens Across from Victoria Station

P1090053

Mister Lasagna has launched its fourth outlet, conveniently across the street from Victoria Station.

I dropped by for a meal last Friday evening. It was a tasty one served quickly and with a warm smile. From the restaurant’s vast menu, I went with a half portion each of two different types of lasagnas – truffle with a pesto sauce and ‘nduja with a tomato sauce– and very much enjoyed them both with a bottle of Peroni. At £5.90 for a regular order it was excellent value for money. Half orders are £3.50 and a “Tris” order is £7.80.

I took home a doggie bag of cannoli as well. My pistachio flavoured cannolo was a treat the next morning.

While dining in Mister Lasagna’s cozy upstair seating area I was impressed to see folks streaming in and out with efficiency. Much of the small eatery’s trade seems to be takeaway. With the prospect of a yummy lasagna dinner at home at the end of the day, I can understand the appeal.

Mister Lasagna Victoria is located at 320 Vauxhall Bridge Road, SW1V 1AA. There are three other locations in Central London as well. Find out more at misterlasagna.co.uk.
