Bea Vo’s Deep South dive, Stax Diner, will celebrate its upcoming relaunch by giving away free cheeseburgers to the first 200 customers visiting the Kingly Court eatery just off Carnaby Street from noon on Thursday 7 December.
The Stax Cheeseburger (£8.95) features 28-day dry aged pedigreed Sussex beef on an organic buttery soft bun with grilled onion, tomato, lettuce, mayo and choose of cheese (American, mild or mature Cheddar, Stilton or Monterey Jack). The burgers will be offered on a first come/first serve basis.
The Stax refurb will see the restaurant refreshed for the coming festive period where the new space will house walls adorned with an assortment of vintage music posters and related items that pay homage to the restaurant’s namesake, the legendary Memphis record label: Stax Records.
