However, it feels a tad bit troublesome to stopover at a coffee shop or even a kiosk every day to buy yourself a coffee.

You do not have always have that luxury if time and money and that is exactly where an Espresso machine comes into the picture. Nothing beats the feeling of having a beautiful Espresso maker sitting at your kitchen top, all set to serve you the coffee just the way you like whenever and wherever you want.

The problem occurs when it comes to deciding which Espresso machine would be the best buy from you. There are a dozen different variations of Espresso machines in the market and it becomes very difficult to figure out which one is the best for you. Often even the most knowledgeable coffee consumers have little awareness about coffee-making equipment. When buying an Espresso machine, it is important that you consider some of the key factors into account.

Budget

Of course, the first thing that you should be focusing on is how much you are willing to spend on your coffee equipment. There are dozens of models and types of Espresso makers available in the market in every price range. Pre-defining your budget can help you filter down the choices and will make a lot easier and quicker for you to make the choice.

Counter Space

Even if budget is not much of an issue for you and you are tempted to buy a huge coffee maker, remember not every house has a counter space that is big enough to accommodate a large machine, Therefore look for something that your kitchen can easily accommodate.

Maintenance

Like any other equipment, coffee makers need maintenance too. Good maintenance helps in to make a piece of equipment last longer. Some appliances are more low-maintenance than others so make sure you pay attention to cleaning, maintenance and descaling protocols of the equipment.

User-Friendliness

Not all great brewers are very tech savvy and many users prefer simple to assemble and use types of equipment. Some very good coffee makers turn out to be a misery for users because of their complicated interface.

Manual vs Semi-Automatic vs Automatic

The most confusing choice that almost every buyer faces is to make a choice between a manual, semi-automatic and an automatic coffee maker. The biggest difference between the three variants is the degree of control they offer to the brewer. A good coffee brewer would want to control factors such as brew temperature, espresso machine pressure, and capacity. Manual types of equipment do offer that level of flexibility to the user while automatic is mostly pre-programmed. Semi-automatic is a more hybrid version that offers some flexibility of manual machines combined with time-effectiveness and user-friendliness of automatic machines. That being said, remember that manual machines do not have pre-programmed fuctions, therefore, you should only opt for that option if you have excellent coffee brewing skills.
