British Designers Secret Garden Installation at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Terrace

Tonight was a perfect evening to be outside with a view of Hyde Park (well a sliver of it anyway) having cocktails and canapes. And that’s how I spent it, taking in a bit of al fresco glamour in Knightsbridge at the launch of Harvey Nichols’ “Secret Garden Installation” out on the famous luxury department store’s fifth floor terrace.

The installation offers a lovely but temporary setting for summery mingling: you’ve got until 27 May to visit the garden where you can “dine on herbaceous salads accompanied by the finest Beefeater Gin cocktails as you admire magical surroundings created by Britain’s brightest fashion stars”.

Click here for a list of those stars and what they’ve contributed to the Secret Garden and for a look at the menu (of which I approve – the “cauliflower power soup with soft boiled egg and chive vinaigrette” was yum!).
