Today, Uber London launches a very cool Team GB Gold promotion.
Over the past week, Uber has been giving out special gold, silver, and bronze prizes to lucky riders for free and discounted trips around town. Now, to salute British athletes who give it their all for Olympic gold, Uber is offering free rides around Central London every time Team GB wins a gold medal. The offer is good during the hour following each victory.
This is yet another brilliant excuse to give Uber a go. And when you sign up make sure to remember that my 20-quid-off promo code is still in effect. Gold medals or not, here’s how to get your £20 worth of free rides:

I think I’m the only one that loves the Olympic mascots. I ordered the one in the Beefeater costume all the way from London to Toronto.
They’re strange. Mildly endearing qualities but I’m hoping absence will make my heart grow fonder ;P
Are you in Toronto? What did you think of the London Olympics?
