British Summer Time Festival, 5 – 14 July at Hyde Park

You’ve heard about BST at Hyde Park, right? It’s going to be huge. Bon Jovi, the Beach Boys, Elton John, Lionel Richie, the Rolling Stones … and those are a few of the acts.

The festival kicks off on Friday the 5th of July – with Bon Jovi headlining and Kaiser Chefs and Bush as supporting acts – and ends on Sunday the 14th with a Lionel Richie/Jennifer Lopez double bill (with Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers, Eliza Doolittle and more). Yes, the main draw is the line up of superstar acts but there’s stuff all through the day – comedy, children’s activities and entertainment, cooking demos and pop-ups.

Except the two Rolling Stones dates (which are sold out or extremely close to being so) I think there are still plenty of tickets to all the shows. I’m heading to over to check out BST on Friday the 12th to see Elton John and His Band along with Ray Davies and Elvis Costello. I’m a huge Elvis Costello fan and am really looking forward to this show! Stay tuned – I’m sure I’ll post a review soon after.
