Coming Soon: The Clockjack Chicken Burger

Clockjack Oven's Spicy Chicken Thigh Burger - DSC_9473

Sometime this week, Soho’s Clockjack Oven will launch the Clockjack Chicken Burger – a fried chicken thigh burger with a bit of a kick to it. Lucky clucker that I am, I had a chance to sample a prototype of the new burger last week. It was truly delicious and I reckon will prove to be a very popular addition to an already tasty menu.

Priced at £8.95, the Clockjack Chicken Burger will consist of a super tender and succulent buttermilk-marinated fried chicken thigh topped with jalapeño peppers and tomato salsa and served in a sesame seed buttermilk bun.

For me, getting to sneak peek taste of the burger proved an excellent opportunity to see how things are going at this Denman Street eatery. All good as far as I could tell. As a fan of Clockjack Oven’s ethically sourced free range rotisserie chicken as well as its awesome selection of sides (great coleslaw and double cooked chips) and sauces (excellent ranch sauce!), I’m pleased to report that the coleslaw and double cooked chips were still yummy and of ample proportion, the sauces still rocked, and service was efficient and friendly as during previous visits. Gorgeous new burger or not, it’s a safe bet for a more than decent meal.

Clockjack Oven is located at 14 Denman Street, W1D 7HJ. Find out more at
