Post-it Personality: What My Handwriting Says about Me

DSC_6458

So, a few weeks back I mentioned that some folks from Post-it had been in touch to see if I would be up for having my handwriting (along with my choice of pen colour and shape of note) analysed by a graphologist to find out what it might say about my personality. The results are in and the analysis is intriguing.

For the exercise, I scribbled the following message in red ink on a blue, square lined Post-it note:

I THOUGHT ABOUT TEXTING YOU
BUT REALISED THAT ACTUALLY
WRITING SOMETHING WITH REAL
CONTEXT AND TEXTURE  MIGHT
BE MORE MEANINGFUL
THANKS !
CHRIS

And here’s what professional graphologist Adam Brand reckons my red ink scribbling on a blue, square lined Post-it note reveals about my personality:

You are a sensitive person with an extremely lively mind capable of intuitive insights. Original, clever, adaptable and innovative, you are always on the look-out for new projects. Ideas will intrigue you even when you’re not necessarily asked to implement them. You are very quick to spot contradictions but are not always good at clerical tasks as you can be impatient with routine.

You enjoy making an impact.

I must admit, a lot of that certainly rings true. As a freelancer, I am indeed always on the look out for new projects. Mr Brand is hardly the first to notice that “clerical tasks” are not my forte, and to say I “can be impatient with routine” is an understatement! However, Brand seems able to have discovered all this about me the easy way without having to spend time with or actually work alongside me.

If you ever get the chance to have your handwriting examined by a graphologist, go for it. I thought the whole process was fascinating. And if you love using Post-it® Super Sticky Notes as much as I do, click like on the Post-it UK Facebook page.
