2014 – Best of the Best

Going back over of the best sights, bites and more from the past 12 months was a fun and fruitful exercise in counting my blessings and strive for more. I hope my series of Best of 2014 lists may assist you in making the most of your time in the months to come. Cheers for reading tikichris in 2014!

So, the best of 2014? In a nutshell? I was just as apt to flip for dirt cheap treats as I was for upscale luxuries, as long as value, quality and maximum enjoyment played a part in the experience. Portugal wowed the hell out of me on just about every front – and I’m already plotting my 2015 return. I’m keen to head back to the States too for further delicious detours across the American Deep South. And of course, I’m hankering to see plenty of new destinations and to continue exploring my favourite city and chosen home: London.
