50th Anniversary Screenings of George A Romero’s Night of the Living Dead

The mother of the modern zombie genre and one of the greatest horror movies of all time is being celebrated with screenings of a restored and remastered version of Night of the Living Dead by George A Romero.

Starting 24 October, Night of the Living Dead will return to cinemas in the UK and Ireland in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of its original release. Presented by Fathom Events, CinEvents and Living Dead Media, the newly restored director’s cut will be accompanied by a new behind-the-scenes documentary about the cult classic flick.

NOTLD is one of my favourite movies. Romero’s social commentary was cutting and remains relevant today. The feeling of dread is almost palpable. The cinematography is exceptional. See Living Dead on the big screen if you can!
