In less than a day, Baraka has been able to secure more than a third of the funds required to kit out an entire village in Zambia with mosquito nets for each home. I know firsthand from living and traveling in southern Africa (I even spent a couple of weeks in Zambia) that mozzies are a pain in the ass when you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep. Obviously, malaria sucks. Mosquito nets are a cheap and easy way to improve lives and prevent a dreadful disease.
