During my five nights’ stay in Lagos, I was blown away by the vibrant (and often desperate) feel on the streets: edgy and relentless to say the least! New York, LA, London, wherever ain’t got nothing on this city with a population officially around 12 million (but in actuality is probably closer to 20). Lagos is notorious for its “go slow” traffic jams, the super rich living next to abject poverty and an everything-all-the-time (except on Sundays) attitude that’s as intoxicating as it is daunting.
