Upon first tasting, I didn’t quite know what to make of this one. I was immediately intrigued when I gave the cork and then my glassful a good whiff but then didn’t think my initial sip equalled my nosed expectations. Still, this Viognier grew on me with every taste. Besides, some of my favourite wines are cheap and white (just like me – ha!). At just £7.95 per bottle, this peachy little number definitely fits the bill, and until the end of this month, Berry’s got it priced at £5.95 per bottle when purchased in a case of 12.
