It also reminded me that when I was a kid my dad told me about a trip he’d taken to Reno and how he’d noticed drink glasses left all over the streets because people would leave the casinos with their drinks and just set the glasses down somewhere when they were done. The idea that people would just walk around the streets drinking seemed incredibly decadent to me. But I was also intrigued that if you lived in Reno you could walk through downtown and get all the glasses you’d need for free.
Now looking at it, I’m not happy with this shot. The contrast is not ideal and it’s a bit crooked.
It’s legal to drink in the streets here. When it’s relatively nice out, it’s easy to find a seat in a pub because most people are drinking out in the streets.
I love it.
I don’t think I’ve ever nabbed a street glass for home use. But just this weekend, I purchased a pint in one pub and finished it in another. Fun times!
