As I mentioned back in October when Barclays launched 56 Sage Street, this free online game is a fun and has some sharp graphics. Now with Christmas upon us, the game is also an excellent opportunity to win some killer prizes!
Starting today (the 22nd of December 2010), an exciting 56 Sage Street Christmas competition is underway. During normal gameplay, if players are able to find a special hidden object they will unlock a secret mini-game! Completing this mini-game will give players a chance to enter a prize draw and possibly win some amazing freebies such as an LG 42LE4900 42″ FULL HD LED TV + LG HT305SU 5.1 home cinema system, five Apple iPod 8GB Nanos and four Nintendo Wiis with copies of the Sports Resort game. Obviously, terms and conditions apply, see the official website for details.
Don’t have a clue what I’m blogging about? 56 Sage Street is a point and click game set in a vast virtual city, where players are free to explore and click on hundreds of different destinations. With each click players find work, places to stay, new challenges and potentially helpful contacts. This “vast city” looks very London-y to me, and its neat to experience the creators’ virtual version of it. The game also provides children and young adults with an online to learn a bit about managing their finances as well as what it takes to – not just survive but – thrive in the challenging world of today’s concrete jungle.
