Now, much of what I’m going to say here is based upon personal preference. And with respect to any answer to a “best lens” question, there are apt to be as many different responses as there are photographers putting their own two cents in about it. As with so many aspects of photography, the real answer is that it all depends on a particular situation. Still, I know what’s worked for me when hitting the streets to shoot. So, couched qualifiers aside, what’s the best lens for street photography?

    u can never go wrong with a 50mm or a 35mm, but i like to walk around with 24-70 f/2.8. i’ve even recently tried with a 135mm f/2.
