What’s for Lunch? Noodle Oodle, Oxford Street

Not the most graciously eaten dish in Central London, but Noodle Oodle’s “Szechuan Dan Dan LaMien” (served with peanut, sesame and shredded chicken, £6) hits the spot when you’re in a rush for lunch and hoping not to tread too far beyond the fiver threshold. For six quid, this super spicy (seriously, you could work up a sweat) soup with doughy hand-pulled noodles offers a massively slurp-worthy meal.
