Seems like a big no duh to me, but finally all these great London street market folks are starting to wise up to the fact that most people actually work during the day but might enjoy visiting local markets (or even a market elsewhere in town if there was something particularly yummy on offer) if they were still open when folks got home from work. Such an extended shopping hours idea is an especially no brainer way to make much more money that otherwise during the long daylight hours of summer.
So, Camden Lock Market launched a night market last night that’ll run every Thursday for the next six weeks.
It’s pretty much the same old Camden Lock Market you may already love or hate but with cool breezes, a pretty twilight evening sky, live music, fewer weekender types and probably far fewer tourists. Find out more at camdenlockmarket.com.
