If you’ve been to the Olympic Park or even just to Westfield Stratford City since the Games started you know that snazzed up bit of East End regeneration has become a bustling bazaar of gargantuan proportions. In fact, it’s so damn busy that, according to the BBC, Westfield is only letting staff and Olympic ticket holders enter the shopping centre between 10:30 BST and 17 today (Friday the 3rd) and tomorrow (Saturday the 4th) . The Guardian reports that “although spectators are milling around” … takings among Westfield retailers are understood to be “significantly down.”
