Skylon Executive Head Chef, Adam Gray, is a family man with a four year old son in nursery. Keen to pass on his passion for food to a younger generation, Adam recently dropped by his son’s south west London nursery, Teddies Raynes Park Nursery, for a Cooking with Kids demo.The result? An absolutely adorable chance for a small group of children to talk about food, make a manageable mess, cooperate in teams, eat something tasty, and actually learn some valuable lessons about the importance of a healthy diet.
I tagged along to take pics during the demo and was really impressed by how interested all the kids were. A large part of their ability to focus (the session took about 20 minutes or so), had to do with the structured and caring environment provided by the staff at Teddies.
