From the same folks behind Great British Chefs comes the newly launched Great Italian Chefs – and just in time for a most delectable buon Natale!

In need of a last minute recipe? Keen to impress your family and dinner guests? Wondering what to do with your leftovers? Looking for some inspiration or simply love to admire the ideas of great chefs and photographs of amazing food? Presto! Great Italian Chefs to the rescue!

From Chef Giancarlo Perbellini fanciful Bruschetta with foie gras, anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea, apples and Monte Accas cheese mousse to Chef Andrea Migliaccio’s back-to-basics basil pesto – there’s an impressive range of recipes for all levels of skill, augmented by lots of tips and advice.

Anyone browsing my blog lately should have noticed that Italian cuisine has been on my mind a lot. I’ve been reviewing great restaurants (both here in London and in Italy), meeting with folks in the Italian food industry and generally enjoying the edible best of Italian every chance I could. As the year winds down, I reckon some of my favourite (and most flavoursome) moments abroad were spent in Italy too (I managed visits to Sicily, Puglia and Rome this year). So this new site is super duper for reliving the memories, keeping abreast of what yummy, and helping me decide the where, when and what for future foodie adventures.

And anyone who’s spoken with me lately knows my number one thought as of late has been finishing up with all the renovations at my house. Kemey and I are looking forward to finally being able to host a few close friends during Christmastime and continue with the hospitality well into 2016. To be sure, we’ll be scoping out tasty ideas on Great Italian Chefs and referring to it for recipes and culinary tips.

In addition to all the awesome recipes and cooking advice, the site has started publishing ace features such as (if I may mention my own contribution) my recent write up about the best street food in Rome: greatitalianchefs.com/features/capital-flavour-rome-street-food.

However it is you’re into food, you’re bound to love Great Italian Chefs. So, have a look and see for yourself: greatitalianchefs.com.

Auguri!
