Go for big street food flavours in West London at Little Feast in Shepherd’s Bush.
Little Feast street market has been going strong for almost two months now with about another month to go. I just managed to swing by for the first time last week. It’s a pleasant setting for a fun night of nosh with plenty of (covered) outdoor seating, a friendly vibe and a convenient location just across the street from Goldhawk Road Station.
The tasty time I had last Friday night was a tale of two burgers. Nanny Bill’s buttermilk chicken burger was super succulent. I loved Bill’s fiery hot sauce too. Wow. Cheeky Burger’s over-the-top and full flavoured Cheeky Elvis cheeseburger, featuring a beef patty with cheese, smoked bacon, peanut butter, grilled onions and Hot Daddy Sauce. A side of truffle fries was an equally scarf-able accompaniment, while a pint of Pilsner Urquell proved a fine beer to have cold on a warm summer night.
Content to go halfsies on the duo of burgers, I was nonetheless pleased to see Jama Cubana doing a healthy trade selling their delicious, award-winning Cuban sandwiches. There’s a handful of other vendors offering savouries and sweets as well as a full bar too.
I’m happy to recommend taking a big bite out of Little Feast before summer winds down.
Little Feast runs until 21 August and is located at Shepherd’s Bush Yard, Goldhawk Road, W12 8HA. Find out more at wefeast.co.uk.
