Folks at Eventbrite, the global marketplace for live experiences, recently published a roundup of the UK’s top 30 food and drink influencers. Not even aware my blog was in the running, I was chuffed to find out tikichris had placed as fourth overall. Honoured just to be included, I was surprised see my blog ranked in the top five, especially considering so many of the others listed were celebrities, major print publications, organisations with paid staff, etc.
Viva la small fry! Cheers to Eventbrite to keeping my work on your radar.
Here’s a blurb from the listing:
As we covered in section one of our Complete Guide to Selling Out Food & Drink Festivals, influencers can be a really powerful ally when it comes to promoting your food and drink festival, especially when you’re trying to reach new audiences and maybe don’t have a huge advertising budget.
To help you identify the right people to work with in promoting your festival, we’ve done the work for you, and dug deep into 3 premium influencer tools – Audiense, BuzzSumo and FollowerWonk – to find the UK’s most important food and drink Twitter users based on a range of different factors.
