Love street art, high ceilings and lots and lots of space? You’re going to go ga-ga over this giant two bed/three bath loft conversion in Battersea.
This airy, multi-level, open-spaced accommodation is near Battersea Park and the river, as well as the iconic Battersea Power Station. It’s within a 10-minute walk of Battersea Park Station and Queenstown Road Station with lots of great cafes, pubs and restaurants even closer. Equally in easy reach is the well past up-and-coming and increasingly ultra exclusive neighbourhood of Nine Elms.
I recently gave the loft a proper snoop (yep, these are my photos) and was very much impressed. It features loads of smartly displayed street art (eg D-Face, Pure Evil) and accouterments with a well-equipped (and deliciously stocked) kitchen, large dining table, huge windows and plenty of comfy seating. There’s 24-hour secure entry with doorman reception. And – get this – the place goes for only £189 a night and can be booked via Plum Guide.
