The Bull & The Hide pub has launched its A Very London Christmas festive season menus for 2017.
I tagged along for a tasting of the Grazing menu, one of the pub’s four festive season packages offered. It featured heart handheld dishes big on flavour and fun. I liked the mini brisket burgers, breaded harissa halloumi fingers and macaroni cheese balls best but it was all pretty yummy.
The pub is part of the Hush Heath Estate, and that means great English sparkling wines and apple wines to enjoy with your eats.
The Grazing Menu costs £25 per person for up to 80 guests and includes reserved areas in the main bar for drinking, grazing and celebrating late into the night.
While at The Bull, I got to have a prowl round its seven above-the-pub boutique hotel rooms: nice, spacious, conveniently situated across from Liverpool Street STation and impressively quiet (especially considering it’s over a pub and located in the City). Rates start at £125 for rooms and $150 for suites.
