Episode 42 of tikichris Talks features an interview with street artist Ben Eine. More widely known simply as Eine, the Southeast London born artist has found international success and garnered quite a fan base for his large-scale block letter paintings.
I met with Ben outside StolenSpace gallery in Whitechapel moments before the private view opening of his Everything Starts Somewhere exhibition for a brief chat.
As with his art, Ben offered a bold, brash and intense take on his working class roots, background as an artist, thoughts about today’s street art scene, and what folks can expect to see at his show.
Everything Starts Somewhere runs from 26 October to 18 November 2018.
