Last Friday morning I had quite the elevated experience as a guest of Melitta UK for the launch of their new luxury line of pour over coffee kit: Melitta Momentum.
In addition to marvelling at the gorgeous range of Melitta Momentum products that was revealed, I had the great pleasure of enjoying a few cups of coffee made with these new products – and the exhilarating experience of having them served 100 feet up in the air! Following a demo of the Momentum range was a London in the Sky breakfast flight over the O2 Arena in North Greenwich.
Coffee, breakfast and the views across the Thames and Canary Wharf were amazing!

Melitta Momentum

Epos

Pour Over Coffee Filters

Views of all that awesome Melitta Momentum gear were complemented by awe inspiring views across the Thames and Canary Wharf while suspended 100 feet in the air seating on a London in the Sky platform.
Arguably London’s most unique dining experience, London in the Sky at The O2 offers a range of curated experiences every day such as breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, cocktails and dinner as well as parties with celebrity DJs, live musicians and moreup on the sky tables and below in their gin garden.
To accompany our Melitta Momentum made coffees, a tasty meal was served by the London in the Sky kitchen team (I had breakfast tacos). Coffees were brewed by the host and presenter for the event – Celeste Wong, aka The Girl in the Cafe, one of London’s top five best baristas according toThe Financial Times.
After Celeste’s thorough demos and our well caffeinated brekkie, Celeste treated her guests (there were probably around 20 of us) to freshly shaken espresso martinis. What a way to end on a high!
