I’ve been gaga over the fine food and drink from The East India Company since I had my first taste of one of their biscuits a few years ago. The company (yep, the same one that Queen Elizabeth I granted a Royal Charter to in 1600) offers an excellent selection of premium teas, coffees, chocolate, condiments, hampers and more. Since I’ve been following the brand, it’s continually upped its game with ever more delicious treats.
Back in July, I had the pleasure of sampling a preview of their upcoming 2013 Christmas items and was genuinely impressed.
Recently EIC has introduced a new range of “Chakra” teas. Inspired by the yogic concept of energy flow, the six herbal infusions are designed to restore harmony to the mind, body and soul.

To be eligible to win, all you have to do is register on the EIC website by 30 November 2013. The luxury holiday prize will include five nights at Banyan Tree’s unique all-pool villa resort in UAE, with Emirates Holidays, including daily breakfast, a Rainforest spa session and afternoon tea for two during the stay as well as two return economy flights from London to Dubai plus airport transfers in Dubai.
