Gourmet Burger Kitchen Presents the St Morish

GBK St Morish

Off piste with your current burger options? Gourmet Burger Kitchen has recently introduced a new ski season inspired limited edition cheeseburger which might prove to be the summit of your wintertime noshing. For Alpine delights in mountainous bites, go for the St Morish next time you’re craving a burger this winter.

This prime beef and Swiss raclette cheeseburger served on a brioche bun is amply stacked with truffled mushrooms, “baconaisse”, chilli chocolate ketchup and onion jam. It’s super yummy, and despite such an overloaded melange of ingredients the resulting flavour is morishly cohesive. I loved trying this tasty ensemble (at GBK’s comfy N1 Centre location near Angel Station) and especially enjoyed having my St Morish as part of an Après Ski Bundle (£14.95, including a choice of fries and a drink). Rosemary skinny fries and a Nutella milkshake proved ideal sidekicks for this burger. I was happy to have asked for a small pot of truffle mayo on the side too!

No word on when exactly the St Morish will be slalomed off the GBK menu. But for burger fans, it’s worth wishing for a longer than usual winter!

Gourmet Burger Kitchen has locations across the UK. Find out more at gbk.co.uk.
