If you happen to be round Lancaster Gate today a little past 9am, look up. At exactly 9.09am the Lancaster London (formerly known as the Royal Lancaster Hotel) will release 999 balloons (which we assume will be filled with helium and which we’re happy to note are biodegradable with no string attached).
