As if there were a magical portal leading from a tiny alleyway wedged between Smithfield Market and Charterhouse Square straight to the French countryside, Cafe du Marche has a secret, romantic allure to it. The rustic interiors, attentive service, excellent wine and phenomenal menu make it a safe bet for any special occasion. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Clerkenwell (and that’s really saying a lot); I’m so pleased to announce le Cafe will be hosting a cheese and wine pairing for Qypers on Thursday the 27^th of January.
