Christmas in July: Thorntons Chocolates

Wha?! Christmas in July. Yep, I dropped in on the Thorntons Christmas preview shizzle dizzle the other day, like I did a couple of weeks ago for the Harvey Nics’ and Carluccio’s previews.

Highlights? Well, Christmastime is family time with Thorntons, and for 2012 the 101 year old chocolate maker has some fantastic new treats such as a hand decorated Continental Chocolate Tree Centrepiece (suggested retail, £20), a 100 piece Chocolate Treasures box of “100 delicious Thorntons’ chocolates including many indulgent favourites and new fabulous flavours” (£35) and a new Family Night In box of chocolates, with a “chocolate wheel of fun” to keep everybody round the table having fun (£10). There’s a lot of other new stuff coming out for the festive season, best keep an eye out for the yuletide yummies at thorntons.co.uk.

And don’t forget to check out Thorntons’ “Next Great British Chocolate” competition (as mentioned in this previous post) for a chance to win a year’s worth of free chocolate.
