Check it out. I’ve hooked up with Skype to run this fun little game that gives people a chance to win up to £50 of Skype credit. The way the game was explained to me, tikichris readers stand a very good chance of winning at least a little something. In fact, at least one of my readers has already scored a £50 Skype prepaid card. Boom!
The game will be “live” at 10am, 2pm, 5pm and 8pm each day (British time) until 10 December. Players will be able to click through multiple layers of artwork revealing a different Skype emoticon each time. The first three people to click on all the tiles and reveal all the smiles will win up to £50 of Skype credit (denominations of £2, £20 and £50). There will be nine winners each day.
Skype’s a real handy part of my life as an ex pat whose mom still doesn’t own a computer and hasn’t made it over to London in quite some time but still expects me to call her regularly. Winning free calls to landlines in the US and 40 other countries would be amazing. Even just a little bit like £20 would go a long way with Skype’s low rates.
