RAW – the Artisan Wine Fair – is a two-day celebration of some of the best wine talent in the world. Featuring over 150 growers, RAW is one of the most exciting collections of fine, natural, organic and biodynamic wine artisans ever to come together in the capital. Their wines are pure, kind to the planet, very possibly better for your health and best of all they’re absolutely delicious.
I’ve gone to RAW every year and am really looking forward to checking out the 2014 edition and sharing my notes in a subsequent post. Put plainly, RAW provides an excellent opportunity to discover a great range of wines made with integrity – that some of those wines might be among the most delicious and intriguing you’ll ever try is a bonus.
More stuff in the bonus category includes food from Pecham Bazaar, Antidote, and Elliot’s Cafe plus the chance to try a selection of exciting artisan London drinks producers, including cola, tea, gin, and lots of craft beers.
RAW will be open to the public from 10am to 6pm on Sunday 18 May and 5am to 8pm on Monday 19 May at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, E1 6QL, UK. Tickets cost £25 in advance for one day or £30 at the door and £40 for both days (in advance only).
Did I leave any info out? Probably. Best check rawfair.com for details.
