A couple of Saturdays back, I tagged along on a delicious tour through the historic and vibrant streets of one of London’s most celebrated neighbourhoods – Soho.
The tour was organized and led by chef, ex-restaurateur, and host of the Scratch Supper Club, Michelle Francis, and took a small group of enthusiastic foodies on a walk around the area to discover the “Ten Tastes of Soho” and learn about “the Big Five” – a quintet of local restauranteurs and chefs whom Michelle reckons are the most important movers and shakers in the Soho dining scene. The tour started around 11 in the morning and lasted until 2 p.m. with plenty of food and drink provided along the way, leaving no need for an early dinner.
