I’m just back from a few days of luxury safari at Earth Lodge in the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in South Africa. Yes, I was only there for a four nights. To be sure, I would have been delighted to stay a whole lot longer. But in all honesty four nights was plenty of time for me to completely unwind, to enjoy the lodge’s facilities and its gorgeous surroundings, and even get see Africa’s “Big Five” while exploring the reserve with a tracker and guide in the comfort of a open top Land Cruiser.
The lodge was amazing. And obviously the chance to see lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes and so many other wild animals in their natural habitat was an absolute thrill …
